Monday Munchies... Easy Peanut Butter Cookies

Guys, I am so lazy when it comes to cooking. True story! So I was scrolling through the wide world web when I saw a video that said you could make Peanut Butter Cookies with only 3 ingredients. WHAT?!?!

I didn't believe it!

Since I had all of the ingredients (I have wayyyyyyy to much peanut butte... why?) I thought it couldn't hurt to try it. Plus, peanut butter cookies just happen to be my husbands favorite type of cookies and it took me less than 10 minutes from the minute I added the ingredients together to the time they touched my mouth.

Win-Win-Win. The BEST kind of winning!

Can I also just say that the dough tastes insanely delicious! Like, really really good! I am so ridiculously unhealthy.

SHOPPING LIST:
1 cup of Peanut Butter (creamy or bunchy, you choose!)
1 cup of sugar
1 egg

Seriously... That's it!!!

This amount makes 12 cookies.

1. Preheat over to 375 degrees.

2. Combine the peanut butter, sugar and egg into a bowl and mix away.

3. Roll dough into small 1 inch balls and place onto cookies sheet.

4. Use your fork to make the wonderful peanut butter cookie design... Where did this even originate? Read here to find out more.

5. Cook for 8 minutes

ENJOY!!!!

Seriously, can life get any better right this moment? Everyone who tastes them cannot even believe that they only take 3 ingredients to make. They are so good!!!! I may or may not have made them multiple times already.

DAY 1394.... Aniston's 3 Year Old Pictures

I am a little bit hesitant to share these pictures with you all, and admitting that I was the one who took them. Last time I took pictures for someone, and they were shared, a person, who I thought was a "friend" said some really rude things about my pictures and it really hurt me. I never claim to be a professional. I have never charged for taking pictures, I take them because I like to take pictures and it saves me money. But I like my pictures and I want to celebrate my Aniston Kate through these pictures, so I am pushing aside any worries and thoughts that I may have about the judgement they will receive and putting them out there because I am happy with them. And does it really matter what anyone else thinks?

Aniston was born July 5th, 2012 at 10:33pm. This year it is such a crazy time with the 4th of July and summer happening, family coming into town (so EXCITED) and (another) Mickey Mouse Birthday Party and because I will probably go overboard with pictures next weekend, I figured that I could share these a week early and still be able to get away with it.

Aniston is insanely stubborn. If she doesn't want to smile, she will not smile. But even with her stubbornness I was able to get a few good shots of her.

I did spread the photo shoots over a couple weeks in hopes that she would deliver better pictures. She can only hold up for about 30 minutes, and that's including bribes. She is a smart girl and is kind of over bribes. Sucks for me.

We went to the sand dunes for one shoot and I had bought 3 beautiful big pink balloons. You'll notice there are no pictures with the balloons in them. The second I handed them to my sassy girl, she let them go. The first 100 pictures I took of her after that definitely reflected my anger and annoyance and didn't turn out at all. But I was able to calm myself down after Aniston walked up to me, put her small hand on my arm and said, "I'm sorry I let the pink balloons go Mom. I won't do that ever again." Who can resist a child's apology? Oh well.

Could these pictures have turned out way better if I had had someone else take them? Of course! I am still very much learning about photography and editing (still have pretty much no idea about editing), but it is what it is. I paid a lot of money for a nice camera so I best use it. And who better to use it on than my beautiful children? I paid for her 1 year old and 2 year old pictures, and even though I absolutely loved them, I felt like I could take them and they would mean just a little bit more to Aniston someday because her Mom took them. At least I hope that's the case.

I am satisfied with these pictures and I hope that Aniston will be too. I know I love to look back at my pictures from when I was little, and so my hope is for Aniston to look back at these someday and just love them as much as I love my pictures that I have of my younger self.

So here are Aniston's 3 year old pictures.

PS - If anyone has any amazing editing blogs or info that they would like to pass along, I really would love to learn more. I feel overwhelmed with the amount of information out there that I just don't know where to start. I use Corel Paintshop if that means anything and would like to learn more about that specific program as opposed to being told to buy something else. Those programs are not cheap. THANKS!

Family Fun Friday... Yellowstone Bear World

We are super blessed to live super close to Yellowstone. We are hoping to make a trip there this summer, since the last time we went Aniston was barely a month old. (read about that trip here). But since we haven't been able to go yet, and we happen to be the parents to a spunky little lady who LOVES animals, especially bears... remember this?????

So we hit up Yellowstone Bear World which is only 5 minutes from our house.

It was especially fun for Aniston because she absolutely loves the baby bears. They are ridiculously cute! Their little growling and how they play with each other is amazing and totally entertaining. She probably would've sat there all day just watching them if we would have let her. She probably actually would have gone into the cage if we would have let her. She was growling at them and encouraging them to play with each other. It was adorable.

The last time we went to Bear World was for Aniston's 1st birthday (read more about that here), and since she is turning 3 next week, well, it's obviously been a while. This time she was able to enjoy the children's rides that they have. She is a roller coaster lover just like her parents! I love this picture!

Any petting zoo is always a favorite! They didn't have as many animals as they did last time, but Aniston didn't even know a difference.

Even when the deer tries to eat you, it's still a good time.

I think I have at least 5 pictures from different occasions of this kid with a goat through out her life... is that weird?

After we checked out the baby bears and played at the petting zoo and went on the rides, we went through the drive through portion of the park. It is seriously like Jurassic Park. You drive up to a fence. They give you directions, don't open your windows, drive slow, etc, and then they open the gate, you drive through and then they close it behind you. It's probably my favorite part. It's amazing to get so close up to the bears! They are HUGE!

And then you have this little fella who actually bit the door handle of our car. Crazy cub! Aniston was not very happy with him.

We were lucky to visit on a weekend where they gave us half priced tickets for the rest of the season, so you can bet that we will be heading back sometime later this summer!

I would highly recommend Yellowstone Bear World for anyone in the area or surrounding areas. It's a super fun little family adventure!
