DAY 804... Thankful For #4

Today I am thankful for hot chocolate. Today was one of my super 6 busiest days of the year in my work and I was going going going from sun up to sun down. Seriously I am exhausted, but the day went better than I thought it would. Thankfully I have an awesome husband who made me some amazingly delicious hot chocolate to warm me up (Rexburg is freezing... surprised?) and give me energy for my crazy day. Why is hot chocolate so good and why don't we drink it year round?

I AM THANKFUL FOR HOT CHOCOLATE!

DAY 803... Thankful For #3

Today I am especially thankful for the Freedom of Religion that we have in this country. This allows me to worship the way that I want without the fear of being persecuted. I also feel as though this means that it allows others to worship however they please without me being able to persecute them. For me, I choose to belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Click here to learn more. I believe that families can be together forever. I believe that we are married not just until death do us part but for time and all eternity. What could be greater than that? To be able to be with the people that you love the most FOREVER? Who marries someone and thinks, "Thank goodness I only have to be with you until we die." No one. You marry someone because you love them and you want to be with them forever. I am blessed enough to have that in my life because of my beliefs. That seems like one of the greatest and biggest blessings ever. Who wouldn't want that? I believe in God the Eternal Father and in His Son and in the Holy Ghost. You know, I'm not one to express my religion often, but I live it everyday. I do not drink, I do not smoke, I give 10% of my income every month to my church. That may seem silly to some people, but when you receive the blessings that my family and every family around me who obeys that commandment receives, there's no doubt in your mind but to pay that tithing. Having the freedom of religion is more than being able to worship how I want and where I want, but it allows for the exemption of persecution of anyone who wants to worship, however that may be. I am not one to judge people for how they worship or for how they live. Many of my friends are not members of my church, and I love them. This freedom allows for me not to be persecuted even though I belong to a church that believes that your body is a temple (I believe this as well) and most members do not have tattoos. However, I have a visible tattoo on my foot, and this freedom allows me to be able to worship and wear heels and have a tattoo and not be persecuted for my mistakes because of the atonement. There is no way to express and explain all of my beliefs in one post, but it is truly amazing to me.

Yes, this is how we keep Aniston quiet for all 3 hours of church... It's awesome!

I AM THANKFUL FOR THE FREEDOM OF RELIGION.

DAY 802... Thankful For #2

Okay, it's time to get serious about one of my biggest blessings and one of the things that I am most thankful for. Aniston Kate. Yep... Already crying. I LOVE this little girl with everything that I have. Before you have children, you hear people talk about the love that they have for their kids and I just never even knew that was possible. But from the moment they placed my little Ani Kate on my chest, the love has been overwhelming!

Of course I get upset and angry with her. She can be crazy. But there has never been a single second that I haven't loved her. She came into our lives a lot faster than we anticipated, but we she meant to come into our family when she did. I love her sassiness, her smartness, her smile, her voice, ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING! I cannot even imagine having that love for more than one child, but I'm sure when number 2 decides to join our family that that will change. Everything about this little girl makes me happy! She gives me purpose and love that I have never felt before. I do not even know what I did to deserve this blessing, but I am eternally thankful for my Aniston Kate.

DAY 801... Thankful For #1

Today I am thankful for Pinterest. I know that that may seem petty and silly and I promise it's not at the top of my list of things that I'm thankful for, but it's pretty cool. It helps me to very inexpensively decorate my home for different holidays and seasons. Since it's the first day of November and the day after Halloween and only 22 more days until I go to Disneyland (very excited) I got to spend my morning crafting and decorating. Let's be honest... I will not ever be able to live in a home unless it has a fireplace. Kind of LOVE my fireplace!
I used this website for my banner template.
And I used this website for the paper bag flower template.
I searched Pinterest for wreaths that I could make and ended up making a mixture of a few of them. I really like the outcome! I had everything I needed already on hand except for the wreath which I bought for $1.49.
I like this printable that I made much better than the one I made for Halloween. Remember how I just made it on Publisher, with fonts I found on Pinterest, and had it printed for 12 cents? So fun!

Pretty sure this entire set up only cost me about $10 for everything! The Dollar Tree is also AMAZING! I had so much of this stuff just sitting around (pack rat) and Pinterest helped me to figure out how to use it!

 I am thankful for Pinterest!
